Meet Tim Yuniskis

Founder of Digital Age Tech Consultants

This all started back in college where I got my first part time job as a sales rep for Vivint, a home security company.  Being in sales is not easy, and I actually classify it as very tough.  To start from nothing, gain credibility for a young person, and constant follow-ups, I almost gave up.  However, it was very rewarding to see folks happy that I reached out to help them out by providing a solution to their needs.  After my first sale, I knew right then, that sales was the path for me and I was ready to grow.

As I worked at Vivint, I realized the work that I was doing felt more like a chore than making a difference, so I looked around at other positions.  During the job search, I have to thank my mom for introducing me to Laserfiche® and its mission.  She praised Laserfiche® as the best document management software out there and that they were local based to where I grew up in the Los Angeles-Orange County area.

Taking action on my mom’s advice, I applied for a part-time position at Laserfiche® with some low expectations since it was a corporation that might not hire college students until they graduate but lo and behold, I got the offer letter after my interview the next day.  I started part-time in the sales department and worked my way up to different sales roles and different territories across the US and Canada.

As I was working, I took passion in helping Laserfiche® resellers become successful as well as helping customers get the most out of their Laserfiche® solution.  It was at this moment that I realized there’s more work to be done for smaller sized organizations.  I felt the smaller clients/resellers were left behind since the focus for corporations is to service bigger clients and focus on the dollar amount.

Even though I closed my chapter at Laserfiche®, I still brought Laserfiche® into the next one when I decided to launch Digital Age Tech Consultants.  As a Laserfiche® Platinum and Gold Certified reseller, I get to be a part of every business’ growth and see them succeed without the corporate hubbub.  Now, as a business owner, I can now manage the sales process in the humble, honest, and hardworking way I envisioned it would be.

Like I said, family has played an integral role in my life and how I conduct business.  My love of document management came from my mom.  Even in my brand, I brought in colors that hit close to home for me.  Yellow is my grandmother’s favorite color.  Purple is for my favorite dessert, Ube.  Finally, orange represents Laserfiche®, where this journey first began.
